The islands of Hawai‘i come to the island of Manhattan at the Sunset Luau, a new event for this year’s festival.Chefs Alan Wong and Roy Yamaguchi, two of the founding fathers of Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine, will be together for one night in New York with Hawaiian Airlines’ Executive Chef Chai Chaowasaree and Vikram Garg to give you a taste of true Hawaiian cuisine.

On the rooftop of the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel, the Sunset Luau will transport guests to the land of plumeria leis, warm breezes, kalua pig, hula dancers and mai tais. With cocktails curated by Hawaiian native Julie Reiner, of Manhattanʻs Lani Kai, enjoy old school “Ohana” cocktails and other tropical libations.
