Get fêted by legendary chefs Daniel Boulud and Susur Lee as these two masters of French and Chinese cooking come together for an unprecedented collaborative Chinese banquet dinner at the majestic Restaurant DANIEL.
Following a cocktail hour featuring hors d’oeuvre chinois, the seated dinner pays homage to Chinese culture with a presentation of 8 auspicious amuse-bouches. Next up, each chef will create “duos”, or complementary interpretations of the same dish. The Duo of Squab features Squab Consomme with Morels and Dried Scallops in a Bamboo Cup from Susur and a Terrine of Tea Smoked Squab Breast with Wilted Spring Greens from Daniel. We then move on to fish and meat courses and, ultimately, a Quattro of Desserts prepared by Pastry Chef Dominique Ansel. The courses will be paired with fine wines and champagnes selected by Sommelier Raj Vaidya and provided courtesy of Domaine Select Wine Estates.
